This song has been on my mind lately! I am so excited that she will be joining us for both weeks at senior lakeside this june and july! I am excited to see what God is going to do through her testimony this year at Lakeside....Come on JESUS!!!!=)

Her testimony is soooo powerful! God can and will use anybody for His kingdom! No matter what your story is, God loves you. You can never do anything to outrun God's grace. He loves us no matter what, no matter what we have done. Even when we try to run from God, God still loves us.  Each one of us has a testimony, no matter what your story is and what you have gone through, God LOVES YOU!!

I know WHO I am because of WHOSE I am

I know who I am because of whose I am.  I am Courtney, a student, a dancer, a daughter, a friend but most of all I am a child of God!

God is working in my life big time and I've seen it more and recognized it more within the last 40 days or so! I see God working all around me and I see His beauty everywhere. God has brought certain people into my life for a reason and because of them I am continuing to grow in my faith.

I've also seen some of my prayers answered.  I've worked at my job for almost 5 yrs now and lately I've been wondering "what is my purpose there?" A few weeks ago I prayed that God would open my eyes and that He would give me more opportunities to share my faith.  Last Sunday night at youth group we were given a piece of paper that had scripture on it regarding the "Easter story" Last Monday a girl from work texted me and told me that she didnt quite understand everything about the "Easter strory" I grabbed the sheet of paper from the night before and I was able to witness to her! God is soooo good and sooo faithful!! God I pray for more opportunities like that.

Over the last 4o days I have fallen in love with my savior all over again!! Jesus is so awesome!!! He went to the cross for me!!! For my sins.  Now that's true love!! No one person or anything for that matter will ever be able to love us in the way that Jesus loved us (and still does) when He went to the cross for you and I. I had seen the Passion of the Christ when it came out in theatres my freshmen year of high school, but I hadn't seen it since then.  Last week 2 CIT's from my youth group and I  got together and watched it.  WOW!! what a powerful movie! I think that sometimes we forget what Jesus did for us. He loved us so much that he was beaten, bleeding and yet He went to the cross!

I know the Easter story, but watching that movie all over again really put things into perspective for me this Easter season.  I realize what Jesus went through on the cross for me.  His love truly is extravagant and true love!!!  If you're reading this I just want you to know how much Jesus really truly does love you!!!!
